Under the ‘Urbanite Living’ brand we have formed a new JV with Prescient Capital, a private equity real estate business. We are delighted to announce that our new joint venture with Prescient Capital has been launched and it will oversee the development of a portfolio of more than 2,000 units of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
The portfolio currently comprises one operational asset, a development in York of 108 units, plus a pipeline of a further 1,800 units which are currently at various stages of the planning or development cycle.
The portfolio will also soon be expanded as construction has now started on 127 units in Sheffield. In addition, ground will be broken on another 462 units in 2022 in locations including Glasgow and Leicester, as well as a second development in York.
All of this will mean both busy and exciting times ahead for Urbanite Living and we look forward to seeing this venture and our portfolio go from strength to strength over the next few years.
