Ground has been broken on our new development on Henry Street in Sheffield city centre. Our latest development of student flats in Sheffield is now underway, with ground officially being broken on the site which promises exciting accommodation of 127 new units.
The demolition of the existing buildings and associated structures already located at the site adjacent to Henry Street and Watery Street, in Kelham Island, was originally granted in January last year. However following this, work has now officially started on the new buildings. In addition to the five storey accommodation block, there will be further development of the local infrastructure, as well as additional cycle storage and landscaping.
Within the development itself residents will also be able to enjoy a concierge, student common room, cinema, as well as quality communal kitchens and dining areas. The excellent location of the scheme also offers top transport links and pedestrian access.
We are excited about the potential this development has to provide both quality living space for residents and to boost the local area. The contemporary style of the new building will also aim to complement the existing redevelopment going on in this sought after area.
